With Leigh Whannell steering the INSIDIOUS franchise all on his own with CHAPTER 3, expect to see plenty of surprises from the series co-creator as he has something a little special planned for the ghost-hunting tandem, Specs and Tucker. Angus Sampson (above; right) recently spoke with Nuke the Fridge, who say’s his character is in for a surprise in the prequel. "There’s a little surprise with Tucker in this next one,” Sampson said. “I will say that [it's] a little surprise that Leigh has written for him. Nothing out of this world, but it was great fun.” What could it be? Your guess is as good as mine!

This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3 stars Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott and Lin Shaye alongside Angus Sampson, and Mr. Whannell, with the latter trio reprising their roles from the first two movies in the franchise.
