Horror tour open

Considering I just watched
MONSTER SQUAD
last night, I couldn’t be more excited about this information.
(Well I guess I could be more excited if I lived anywhere near Hollywood, but
that’s besides the point!)

Universal Studios Hollywood has
announced today that the doors are now open to there HOUSE OF HORRORS
attraction that promises to take people through a castle filled with 80 years
worth of horror movie monster legacies. How f**king sweet is that?

Now the attraction boast’s to have
the likings of
Count
Dracula, Nosferatu, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride
of Frankenstein, the Phantom of the Opera, Mother Bates, and the zombies of

DAWN OF THE DEAD
and

LAND OF THE DEAD
. Best of all, these attractions will be seen within
their own habitats, like Frankenstein’s lab and the Wolfman’s forest.

Now the only
thing that struck me odd about this new atraction is the

"multi-sensory" aspect of the tour. Apparently Universal is using ‘olfactory
sensation’ to produce multi sensory effects. Meaning the castle has been
"infused with scents that capture the pungent odors of
Egyptian tombs, musty antechambers and decaying life"
. So basically
they’ve made the tour smell like a hobo’s assh*le, because I’ve been around dead
bodies and there is no positive smell to them whatsoever.

Overall this
seems like a cool new Universal attraction, and I like the addition of the
zombies, the often misunderstood and underappreciated servants of the macabre.

And just to get
you in the Universal Studios monster mood….

That’s right folks. Wolfman’s got
nards.
