While I know that the upcoming film
DISTURBIA is a total rip-off of Alfred Hitchcock’s REAR WINDOW I’m
still pretty pumped to see it. And if anyone else is in that same boat, the
official DISTURBIA site has a cool little extra that might help spark the
peeping tom in us all.

Now the ones that are there now are
a little lame, so I’m hoping some AITH readers can show everyone else up with
some better stories to be displayed.
DISTURBIA stars Shia LaBeouf
as Kale, a guy who
becomes sullen, withdrawn, and troubled after his father’s death. So much so
that he finds himself under a court-ordered sentence of house arrest. His
mother, Julie, works night and day to support herself and her son, only to be
met with indifference and lethargy. The walls of his house begin to close in on
Kale. He becomes a voyeur as his interests turn outside the windows of his
suburban home towards those of his neighbors, one of which Kale begins to
suspect is a serial killer. But, are his suspicions merely the product of cabin
fever and his overactive imagination?
The flick releases April 13th and
based on the trailer that I’ve seen I know I’ll be checking it out in theatres.
