While many have played the hockey masked psycho we all know and love, Kane Hodder played Jason Voorhees with a kind of silent ferocity that brought the character to a whole new level- say what you will, but Hodder is Jason!
Because of that, Hodder has gone from stuntman to actor, as you can see here with ED GEIN: THE BUTCHER OF PLAINFIELD, the umpteenth straight-to-video flick about real life psycho Ed Gein. Hodder plays Gein, and thanks to Horrormovies.ca, here’s the first look of Hodder in the role. Yep, he’s looking menacing as ever… so much so that it overlooks the fact that Ed Gein was actually a small dude, and nothing like Hodder at all.
Regardless, it looks like it could actually be watchable (unlike some of the others), and it even co-stars Priscilla Barnes (below) from THE DEVIL’S REJECTS. To check out the other pic from the flick, click HERE, and watch for THE BUTCHER OF PLAINFIELD in stores everywhere sometime 2007.
