A Beastly teaser

Clearly hoping to tap into the same audience that made the TWILIGHT series such a monolithic moneymaker, the upcoming BEASTLY also pairs romance with a touch of monsterism.

Alex Pettyfer (STORMBREAKER) is the dreamy JBF-haired teen who finds his form contorted into a hideous (?) mancreature, and has a year to find a woman to love him or he’ll be forever cursed with wearing special effects makeup. He rightfully selects ex-Disney cupcake Vanessa Hudgens as his quarry.

The movie doesn’t arrive until next summer, but they obviously want to surf the NEW MOON success posthaste. You can catch a tiny glimpse of this high school Perlman-free “beauty and the beast” tale below.
