Save for an import DVD review we featured a mere 4 days ago (see that shite HERE), it’s been since last summer that we briefed you all on anything regarding Jake West’s horror comedy DOGHOUSE. Well, since premiering in France 3 days ago, we just wrapped our talons on some sweet production and set stills, cool character art, a quad or two, as well as some pretty rad posters for the flick. Hot diggity!
From the pen of ink virgin Dan Schafer, DOGHOUSE goes a bit like this:
Vince is handling his divorce badly. He’s depressed. Gone to pieces. But his mates aren’t giving up on him. Struggling with their own women troubles, they drag him off for an ultimate lads drinking weekend in the country. Arriving in the village of Moodley where the women outnumber the men 3:1, the boys find themselves holidaying in a village overrun by psychotic, homicidal Zombirds with a thirst for male flesh.
Homicidal Zombirds? Good lord…why the hell isn’t that the title of the picture? I mean, really…zombirds?!?
Danny Dyer, Stephen Graham, Noel Clark, Terry Stone, Christina Cole, Lee Ingleby, Keith Lee-Castle, Emil Marwa, Neil Maskell, Adele Silva, Toby Richards, Emily Booth, Alison Carroll, Billy Murray (the nerve) and Tree Carr all take center stage.
