A feature version of web-series musical I Kissed A Vampire on the way?

Well here’s an interesting little project that has seemed to fly under our radar… but maybe that’s for good reason? What do you get when you combine vampires and musical numbers? No it’s not TWILIGHT: THE MUSICAL, though I bet that’s not far off. I’m talking about the web-series I KISSED A VAMPIRE!

The musical web-series kicked off on iTunes this past October and is now looking to become a feature film, according to the project’s official website:

Based on the popular iTunes webseries of the same name, “I Kissed A Vampire” is a brand new feature film rock musical starring Lucas Grabeel (“High School Musical” and sequels) Drew Seeley (“Another Cinderella Story” and the new TBS Fall comedy, “Glory Daze”) and newcomer Adrian Slade. The film features 17 original songs and premieres this June at the Seattle International Film Festival.

Good deal. I bet you’re wondering what the details are for this little diddy, aren’t you? Well that’s what I’m here for! Along with Grabeel, Seeley and Slade I KISSED A VAMPIRE also stars Amy Paffrath (below), Sally Slade, Chris Coppola, Emily Morris, Autumn Grabeel, Katie Seeley and Lori Lively. Dylan (Lucas Grabeel) is terrified when a nasty bat bite transforms him into one of the living dead. His world is turned upside down, and he has to figure out how to balance his budding romance with Sara (Slade), the girl next door, and the bloodthirsty desires his magnetic vampire mentor Trey (Drew Seeley) is constantly urging him to give in to.
