Just last week we were informed that Kevin Munroe’s adaptation of Dylan Dog’s dark comic DEAD OF NIGHT is set to make its theatrical premiere in Italy this Halloween. It makes sense then, since the film is starting to gather some momentum, that a fresh crop of stills from the film have been exhumed. And we’ve got them shites for your eyes only below!
Adapted by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (who both teamed to write SAHARA, CONAN), DEAD OF NIGHT will chronicle the adventures of supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of the Louisiana bayou in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans. In the film Dylan Dog is forced back into his nightmare investigations after he is approached by a woman who claims to have seen her father brutally murdered by a mysterious creature. With his street smarts, his gun, and a set of paranormal weapons, Dylan attempts to restore order both above and below ground.
Brandon Routh plays the titular lead, finding support from the always fun to watch Peter Stormare, Sam Huntington, Taye Diggs, Brian Steele, Kurt Angle, Anita Briem, Randal Reeder, Marco St. John and Courtney Shay Young (just to name a few). Hopefully the cast will flash more fangs than the following stills!
