A full deck of Sorcerer’s Apprentice character posters

JoBloJoBlo

I’ve heard some surprisingly good buzz about THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE, despite its rather WTF trailers, meaning I probably will end up seeing it when it comes out in month or so.

The film, which follows Jay Baruchel learning magic from Nicolas Cage to fight some unspeakable evil (Alfred Molina), has just debuted a series of new character posters, and they are uh, strange to say the least.

I think maybe they’re trying to be like tarot cards (or more accurately, Magic the Gathering cards)? But if that’s the case, they probably should have gone with a hand drawn approach, instead of this bizarro CGI/real life hybrid style where most of the people look like they’re pulled from cutscenes of a PS2 game.

Click on the posters below to see them in hi-res at the Pimpin’ Poster Palace!
