A Haunting at Silver Falls 2 begins production

The press-release for the just announced sequel to A HAUNTING AT SILVER FALLS says that the original film "gained an extensive online fan base from teenage bloggers." Did it really? Huh. I was unaware. I have seen the film's poster many times while stumbling through Netflix looking for something to watch, but I have never heard anything else about it. Let alone enough to think it warrented a sequel.

Not that I'm here to hate on the film. If teenage bloggers are digging it, all the more power to them. That said, are there any fans our SILVER FALLS that aren't teenagers, and/or bloggers? I'm only asking because I'd like to know if I'm missing out on something here.

But I bet I'm not.

All the same Enderby Entertainment announced today that their genre division Tony-Seven Films has set a cast for the film A HAUNTING AT SILVER FALLS 2, and the follow-up has gone into production in Oregon. Outsider will be selling international territories at the European Film Market in Berlin.
