THE DRONE, the latest film from ZOMBEAVERS and Critters: A New Binge director Jordan Rubin, is set to receive a DVD, Digital, and On Demand release from Lionsgate tomorrow, October 15th. To help get you prepared for the release, today we have an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film that shows the title device in action.
Starring Alex Essoe, John Brotherton, Anita Briem, Neil Sandilands, Rex Linn, Simon Rex, Sam Adegoke, and Christopher Matthew, THE DRONE was written by Rubin, Al Kaplan, and Jon Kaplan. Described as terrifying and outrageous, the story begins when
a serial killer is struck by lightning while holding his precious drone. Weeks later, the drone shows up at the home of newlywed couple Chris (Brotherton) and Rachel (Essoe). Without them realizing it, the drone films the couple and takes control of their TV, computer, security system, and car. Soon Chris and Rachel fear that the device may be connected to them… and is out for horrific, hovering revenge.
