Abominable Combs

UPDATE: Director Ryan Schifrin just contacted us and had this to say: “We shot a new scene for Abominable, with Lance Henriksen. It’s Lance, Jeffrey Combs and Rex Linn out camping, hunting Bigfoot. Of course, the hunters become the hunted. Ashley Hartman is in the scene as well (you should check out her site, ashleyhartman.com. She’s got quite a career ahead of her!) The film will be ready for the AFM which stars November 1st.”

How cool is this: you make a movie about the savage beast Bigfoot who goes on a killing spree, you land horror legend Jeffrey Combs as a starring role, and a few weeks after you’re done filming, you add another scene and hire Lance Henrikson to join in the fun?!

Such is the case in Ryan Schfrin’s ABOMINABLE, in which the director called back Combs and hired Henrikson to film a couple of additional scenes before it’s final release into the film meat-market (American Film Market) this November.

Here’s what Schfrin told Fangoria:I’m adding a new scene in which Lance and Jeffrey Combs are out camping in the woods, hunting Bigfoot… I’ve wanted to work with Lance for years. He’s an incredible actor and so cool too… To have him and Jeffrey Combs together in a scene is so exciting! Best of all, I’m happy to say that the shoot went really well and the footage came out great. Having Lance and Jeff together is a riot.

And judging from this freshly released picture of Combs in goggle glasses and a 5 o’clock shadow, ABOMINABLE is starting to look extremely awesome, and they’d be crazy not to pick this bitch up.
