just scored a pic of SYLVESTER STALLONE’s look in THE
EXPENDABLES (see above) and goddamn! The dude is CUT! I now
officially feel like a bitch. THE EXPENDABLES stars Stallone (who also writes
and directs), Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy
Couture, Forest Whitaker, Robert Knepper and Juliana Paes.
The film is about a team of mercenaries who head to South America on a mission to
overthrow a dictator. It enters production next month. NOTE: I wonder if
Sly took the title from these lines out of RAMBO II: Co Bao: Why did
they pick you? Because you like to fight? Rambo: I’m expendable. Co Bao: What
mean expendable? Rambo: It’s like someone invites you to a party and you don’t
show up. It doesn’t really matter.
Sly is as cut above as he was in RAMBO II. Props!

Exclusive Red Band Clip from Taken
Revenge flicks will always have a speacial place in my heart–there’s nothing more satisfying than watching a normal dude take out mass amounts of people all in the name of getting even. Liam Neeson is stretching his action chops with this year’s TAKEN, and today we have an exclusive red band clip from the film to feast your eyes on. I won’t spoil the goods, just know that the clip is titled “I Told You I Would Find You.” Ah yes, sweet revenge. TAKEN hits theaters January 30th! It’s only downfall is its PG-13 rating…
Crank 2 Trailer & Rating
The trailer for CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE made it’s way online this week over at IGN, and it’s looking mighty fine (check that shite HERE). Lots of adrenaline pumping action, as Chev Chelios is out to find the people who stole… his heart! We also got word that the film
has just been rated R by the MPAA for frenetic strong bloody violence throughout, crude and graphic sexual content, nudity and pervasive language. Hell yeah… those are pretty much all the things I look for in an action movie. HIGH VOLTAGE hits theaters April 17, 2009.
