So how about a supernatural action flick set in the Cambodian jungle?
Well friends, if we’re to believe The Hollywood Reporter, that’s exactly what we can expect with Millennium’s new untitled film project. You see, the studio just bought rights to a spec-script from low budget action-star Paul Sloan (seen right), fast-tracking the flick with plans to shoot early next year.
Currently looking for a director who can meld the sensibilities of THE EXPENDABLES and CONAN THE BARBARIAN, the untitled supernatural action script is described as having been inspired by pulp heroes Doc Savage and Tarzan, and centers on a team of mercenaries whose search for a missing person in the jungles of Cambodia becomes a descent into the heart of darkness as they confront the dark force of a vampire.
Vampires? Mercenaries? In the jungle? Gotta admit, I fully see why Millennium is fast-tracking this sucker. Who doesn’t want to see an b-grade action-mashup with the resources of Millennium behind it? This shite’s gonna be insane!
Until we hear more, what do you think the title of the film should be?
