Adam Green’s Hatchet 2 gets DVD/Blu-ray release date

Arriving today on video-on-demand services today is Adam Green’s HATCHET II. There’s a good chance you missed its limited and unceremoniously pulled theatrical run a couple of months ago, but if you’re waiting for a physical copy, we’ve got good news for you:

HATCHET II will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray – unrated and uncut, naturally – on February 1st, 2011. Full details have yet to be announced but are expected soon, and you know you’ll be able to find them right here. Here’s the plot:

After barely escaping the clutches of Victor Crowley, Marybeth learns the truth about his curse and heads back into the haunted New Orleans swamp to seek revenge for her family and kill Victor Crowley once and for all.

The slasher sequel stars Danielle Harris (below), Tony Todd, Kane Hodder, AJ Bowen, Rileah Vanderbilt, Tom Holland, R.A. Mihailoff and Parry Shen. Remember: if you don’t want to wait those two extra months, you can rent it today via VOD.
