Adam Green’s highly anticipated slasher flick HATCHET II opens on the 1st of October, and being about 6 weeks out at this point, Dark Sky Films thought it wise to finally release a teaser trailer for the bayou-set bloodbath. If so inclined, cop a dose of the jarring first look underneath!

After barely escaping the clutches of Victor Crowley, Marybeth learns the truth about his curse and heads back into the haunted New Orleans swamp to seek revenge for her family and kill Victor Crowley once and for all.
If you’re a HATCHET fan, what’s not to love about the sound of its successor? Need further wheedling…consider the fact that Green and company increased the level of fake blood during production from 55 gallons in the original, to over 135 gallons in part 2. Math ain’t my strong suit, but I got that as 80 MORE gallons this go around. 80!!! Again, what’s not to love about this sumbitch?
