Oskar Schindler will go to war with the aliens in Peter Berg’s BATTLESHIP, Deadline.com reports. Yes, Liam Neeson has boarded the extraterrestrial-battling crew at the center of the epic sci-fi flick, which is currently shooting in Hawaii.
Neeson will play Admiral Shane, the Naval officer whose daughter (played by Brooklyn Decker) is engaged to a young naval officer (played by Taylor Kitsch). No doubt he’s gonna have to dish out some tough love to both of them. Is this scenario reminding anyone of ARMAGEDDON..?
This is the second piece of big casting news for Neeson in as many weeks. As we wrote last week, Neeson has joined the killer-wolves flick THE GREY, which his A-TEAM director Joe Carnahan is preparing.
BATTLESHIP also stars Rhianna, Alexander Skarsgard, Lil Mirkk and Tom Arnold. It comes out on MAY 18th, 2012.
