Well with Comic-Con tearing up the West Coast it should come as no surprise to anyone that A&E have just announced their pick-up of the “Bag of Bones” mini-series! That is of course according to The Hollywood Reporter, who says the mini-series will span four hour-long parts. Planned to air later this air over two nights, “Bag of Bones” will start filming next month in Nova Scotia, Canada with a cast that includes Brosnan and Anabeth Gish (below).
Mick Garris has also been confirmed as director, adapting from a script by Matt Venne.
“Bag of Bones” centers on ‘Mike Noonan’, a man who is unable to stop grieving for his wife, who died suddenly. After returning to the lakeside retreat they shared, he inadvertently gets involved in a local custody battle – while having nightmares about his dead wife.
So there you have it! A nice juicy “Bag of Bones” update for you guys to help kick-start your weekend. Now with this thing rushing into production next month we’ll probably be hearing about some more updates soon so be sure to check back for those as we hear them!
