AFM premieres posters for Return To Nuke ‘Em High, Milo and Sharknado

AFM is bringing the funny with this trio of horror-comedy posters. Well, two are legitimate horror/comedies (NUKE ‘EM HIGH and MILO) while the other is a creature feature with the funniest concept ever concocted (SHARKNADO). I feel they compliment each other perfectly.

Our competition got the drop on the poster for MILO earlier this week. Still, I believe it’s worth looking at here. The dark comedy is produced by the Duplass Brothers (BAGHEAD) and stars Ken Marino (WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER), Peter Stormare (FARGO) and Gillian Jacobs (COMMUNITY). Jacob Vaughan directs the film, which tells the story of a fella (Marino) with intense stomach trouble who learns to his horror that he has a demon living in his intestines. When he gives it permission to come out during a therapy session, the man names it Milo and tries to live a life in which he, not his demon, is in charge.

Next, we have RETURN TO NUKE ‘EM HIGH. The film’s trailer made the internet rounds a few days ago, promising a return to form for Troma. This remake of the company’s CLASS OF NUKE ‘EM HIGH is being produced in association with STARZ MEDIA.

Last, and certainly not least, we have the poster for The Asylum’s SHARKNADO. That’s right– it’s a film about a tornado made out of sharks. For those whose reality has been so shaken by the concept they cannot fathom how such a meteorological phenomenon might exist, the film’s synopsis has also been unveiled: When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace. And when the high -speed winds form tornadoes in the desert, nature’s deadliest killer rules water, land, and air.

I think it’s clear there’s no following that one up. However, I’d like to know what do you guys think. Is SHARKNADO the best of the bunch? Talk back with your thoughts below…
