A few days ago we caught a glimpse of the international one-sheet for Simon Fellows’ reality-based horror show THE TASK, one of eight new After Dark Originals. Well mofos, when it rains, it pours…because After Dark just issued the first official still from the flick. Wanna see this bad boy? You know the routine!

Something diabolical is taking place on the set of THE TASK, a new reality show in which players complete terrifying missions within the confines of an abandoned prison, hoping to win a hefty cash prize. As six young students explore their new environment, malicious spirits make their presence known in the most gruesome ways imaginable. The contestants become unwitting pawns caught at the centre of a blood-soaked night of terror. Only one girl survives to tell the tale.
Speaking of the abandoned prison, take a look at her below. Not only does the setting look dim and grimy, check out a prisoner dangling from their feet, reverse Marty Riggs style!
Alexandra Staden, Victor McGuire, Adam Rayner, Ashley Mulheron (below), Antonia Campbell Hughes, Amara Karan, Tom Payne, Marc Pickering and Texas Battle all assume a role in the picture.
