What the f*ck?! What the f*ck?! WHAT THE F*CK?! I’m so sorry, but I just can’t find any other words as of yet to currently express my feelings towards the following flick. It is just so freakin’ out there, I’m having trouble fathoming it. Oh well, for the sake of reporting for our genre, I will proceed. Prepare yourselves for… HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FIRST SEQUENCE).
What, a human centipede? What’s so weird about that? It’s probably just a “bug man” movie. This is what you may have thought at first and I just want to say right away, “That’s wrong!” It is something much, MUCH worse! Take a deep breathe and observe the plot synopsis:
Internationally respected Siamese twin surgeon Dr. Josef Heiter has a demented vision for mankind’s future existence. He wants to remove human beings’ kneecaps so they have to exist on all fours and then surgically graft them mouth-to-anus to form a centipede chain. When two stranded female Americans arrive at his luxury home-cum-hospital looking for help, his long-gestating plan swiftly moves into chilling action with a shocking force. Kidnapping a third Japanese male tourist he begins the tissue matches, teeth removal and buttock moulding to create his triplet creature…

CENTIPEDE comes from the bizarre mind of Dutch writer/director Tom Six and stars Dieter Laser, Ashley C. Williams, Ashlyn Yennie and Akihiro Kitamura. It will be screening at Film4’s FRIGHTFEST this year on August 30th.
