A little ways back, I spilled the guts about a forthcoming indie playfully titled ALL ABOUT EVIL. It was packing one way cool horror/comedy karma and I’m pleased as cherry pie to proclaim that the first official stills from the flick have been released! Check ’em out above and below!
I’m a little unsure of what the hell is happening in the pic up top, but it sure is one f*cked-up and funny sight! I also really like the FX job on that undead bitch’s freaky face. At first glance of the pic below, I wasn’t sure what was so “horror” about it. Then I noticed the bruise on the woman’s face to the right of star Natasha Lyonne and that she was bound with electrical tape. Cool beans!
EVIL’s plot just rocks. Check it: The story follows a mousy librarian, who has inherited her father’s beloved old movie house, discovers her inner serial killer — and a legion of rabid gore fans — when she starts turning out a series of grisly shorts. What her fans don’t realize yet is that the murders in the movies are all too real.
The flick was written and directed by Joshua Grannell. In addition to Lyonne, the cast includes Thomas Dekker (FROM WITHIN, THE SARAH CONNER CHRONICLES), Noah Segan (DEADGIRL), Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), Mary Woronov (NIGHT OF THE COMET, CHOPPING MALL, HOUSE OF THE DEVIL), Patrick Bristow, Peaches Christ, and Mink Stole. EVIL is being filmed entirely on location in the San Francisco Bay Area.
