First Look Pictures hooked us up this morning with a gaggle of new images from it’s true crime tale AN AMERICAN CRIME, starring Catherine Keener and Ellen Page. I guess Page, who we last saw in HARD CANDY, is rocking another role as victim in this disturbingly true story.
CRIME retells the story of a seemingly ordinary housewife and the mother of seven, as she imprisons a beautiful teenager, who has been left in her charge, in the basement of her Indiana home.
It’s one of those grisly tales where you kind of cringe and wince at just thinking that it really happened. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get through this one, but the new images here are lookin’ pretty sweet. I’ve always dug Keener, and while she’s a crazy biotch here, she’s still fairly hot.
