MGM has now launched the full, official website for THE AMITYVILLE HORROR. It’s pretty cool with lots of clips, trailers, photos, case files and other assundry info. My only quibble with some of these Flashy McFlash sites, especially when it comes to horror flicks, is they can be so damn dark that it’s hard to find your way around.
Here’s a hint site designers: Dark room – spooky. Dark web page – annoying.
That said, they really do have some nifty content to peruse, and this is one remake I’m looking forward to. Everything I’ve seen of it so far appears to hit the right notes, and I thought the original pretty much sucked. I mean, Rod Steiger rocks, but his scenes with the flies, am I the only one who was laughing his ass off?
