We’ve been keeping you in the loop regarding Ryan Murphy’s new horror/drama series “American Horror Story” ever since the concept was announced back in February. Since then, it has gained a cast (including Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Jessica Lange) and shot a pilot; both must be strong, because F/X has ordered a full season of the freaky show.
In addition, “American Horror Story” has been given a premiere date: OCTOBER 5th. The first season will last a total of 13 episodes.
“American Horror Story” centers on a therapist (McDermott) and his wife (Britton) who, dealing with the aftermath of the husband’s adultery, move along with their kids into a new house that seems to know all about their fears and plays on them.
In addition to the names mentioned above, the series stars Frances Conroy, Alexandra Breckenridge, Evan Peters, Shelby Young and Denis O’Hare.
An interesting detail in the Deadline article notes that the show has odd supernatural touches, such as the fact that the housekeeper is perceived differently by the two spouses. Sounds like a really intriguing series, so we’ll happily continue to bring you news regarding the thriller.
