It’s only August, but in recent years, it’s the perfect time for many to prematurely prepare for the Halloween season. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has your back as Blu-ray.com has passed along the announcement for an upcoming 4K Blu-ray release for An American Werewolf in London for its 45th anniversary. The John Landis movie from 1981 has been celebrated for those 45 years as a film with the perfect blend of comedy and horror and succeeding in both of those genres. It is also a banner film with an iconic sequence featuring a man’s brutal transformation into a werewolf. Universal has now unveiled a load of details that you can check out below.
The new physical media release is due to hit retailers on October 6.
The description for the new release reads,
