An underwater monster attacks a submarine in new Bleak Sea trailer!

Are you into monster movies of the under sea variety? Then have no fear, as BLEAK SEA is here! From Italian filmmaker Giacomo Cimini, the trailer started off as winner of the Trailermade 2010 Competition, which just showcases awesome trailers for movies that have not been made. It won, and it looks like it’s gonna be made afterall!

But what the hell is BLEAK SEA all about anyway? Check it out: At the height of the Cold War, in the depths of the North Sea, a British submarine in search of an elusive Soviet weapon will find a far more terrifying enemy lurking in the deep.

Sounds cool, looks cool, and if we’re lucky, someone with big pockets will see the trailer at the Cannes Film Festival and throw money at Cimini to make the trailer into a full-fledged motion picture!

We have a few stills from the trailer / flick, as well as the award-winning trailer itself (see below). Starring Vincent Regan, Samuel Roukin, and Robert Sheehan, the promise is there, and according to Undead Backbrain, the full length film is going to happen–once the financing starts rolling in.

Have a blast with the new trailer and the new pics, and get ready to see just what the hell lies beneath… the BLEAK SEA!

Thanks to Avery for the axe up!

Nothing to do with the movie, but this chick is pretty hot.
