Well the big moment has arrived and apparently
the part of Two-Face in the sequel to
BATMAN BEGINS will be played by…Aaron Eckhart!
That’s right, the star of last year’s sleeper
comedy
THANK YOU FOR SMOKING will play the scar faced
attorney turned baddie in THE DARK KNIGHT according to
Variety. Eckhart will join Christian Bale
(Batman) Gary Oldman (Lt. Gordon) and Heath Ledger (The Joker).
I’m a huge comic geek and think that Nolan is
doing a really great job with the casting here. I know a lot of people didn’t
like the idea of Ledger as The Joker but after catching some of 10 THINGS I
HATE ABOUT YOU I noticed that he has the facial structure to pull off a
sweet “Joker Smile” (An example of what I mean is below). I’m really excited to
see Eckhart as Harvey Dent, (Two-Face’s real identity) and think that this may be
the role for him to finally break-out.
