Andy Serkis continues his Oscar campaign for his work as the rebellious Caesar in RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, which will try to conquer the box-office on August 5th. Here the ape-man is introducing the second clip from the Rupert Wyatt prequel. Cop a dose below!
In the clip, you’ll see the more touching human side of Caesar as he interacts with James Franco and John Lithgow’s characters. You have to hand it to the WETA gang, they’ve done some pretty extraordinary FX work here.
RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is set in present day San Francisco, the film is a reality-based cautionary tale, a science fiction/science fact blend, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
James Franco, Freida Pinto (below), John Lithgow, Brian Cox and Tom Felton are a few primary players in the film.
