Wow, talk about a long time coming. Not unlike IN MY SLEEP, which I just wrote about, ANIMALS has had a tough time finding itself a solid release. We gave you a look at the trailer way back in January of 2008, so obviously this one isn’t too fresh, but it still looks like it could be something fun – even though the poster is lame and the trailer looks like it was cut in the early 90s.
Syd has spent years wasting away in a washed-up hick town, but after meeting Nora his life will never be the same. Easily seduced by her charms, Syd is pulled into her dark world and an unforgettable night of passion. But in the light of day Syd begins to realize that his reckless night with Nora has filled him with a growing animal instinct to fight. This is only the beginning to Syd’s journey into the unknown world of the ANIMALS lurking amidst us all.
The flick stars Marc Blucas, Nicki Aycox, Eva Amurri (pictured below), and Naveen Andrews – it hits DVD on JUNE 15th.
