Annabelle Comes Home Vera Farmiga Patrick Wilson

It seemed like paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) had brought the possessed doll Annabelle's reign of terror to an end by locking it up in a cabinet in their house at the beginning of THE CONJURING. That's why we had to keep jumping back in time to see Annabelle being a creep in the spin-offs ANNABELLE and ANNABELLE: CREATION. But now the upcoming film ANNABELLE COMES HOME finds the doll causing trouble in the Warren house, getting Ed and Lorraine mixed up in her shenanigans to some degree.

In the clip embedded below, we see just how dangerous Annabelle can make things for Ed and Lorraine.

The clip is followed by a featurette called "Growing Up a Warren", in which Judy Spera, the daughter of the real-life Ed and Lorraine, discusses what it was like having paranormal investigators as parents and a possessed doll in a cabinet in her home.

Played by Mckenna Grace, a young Judy is at the center of ANNABELLE COMES HOME, along with Madison Iseman as Judy's babysitter / cousin Mary Ellen, and Katie Sarife as Mary Ellen's friend Daniela. The film tells the following story:

Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target — the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.

The film was written and directed by Gary Dauberman, who wrote the two previous ANNABELLE movies and THE NUN.

ANNABELLE COMES HOME is set to reach theatres on June 26th.
