Annabelle Comes Home featurettes discuss love and ESP

ANNABELLE COMES HOME, the latest film in the Conjuring Universe franchise, is in theatres right now, but if you need to see a bit more marketing before deciding whether or not you want to see it, we have you covered with a couple featurettes, plus a collection TV spots.

The first featurette embedded below, "Love Conquers", is my favorite of the bunch because it focuses on my favorite aspect of the entire Conjuring Universe: the loving relationship between married paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, played in these films by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. Ed and Lorraine haven't dealt with the evil forces in the spin-offs, the main CONJURING movies are their domain, but they do have what writer/director Gary Dauberman describes as bookend scenes in ANNABELLE COMES HOME.

The second featurette, "I See Things", has the daughter of the real-life Ed and Lorraine Warren discussing the fact that she has the ability to sense danger.

A fictional version of Ed and Lorraine's daughter Judy is at the center of the story in ANNABELLE COMES HOME:

Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target — the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.

Judy is played by Mckenna Grace, with Madison Iseman as Judy's babysitter / cousin Mary Ellen, and Katie Sarife as Mary Ellen's friend Daniela.

Our own Matt Rooney gave ANNABELLE COMES HOME a 7/10 review.
