Another Crank

JoBloJoBlo

CRANK writer/directors, Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine have said that:

“There will be a sequel to Crank yes. Prepare to Crank again. And you know the “is it a sequel or prequel” question… IT’S A SEQUEL. We’re not selling out and going prequel. We are picking up where the last movie left off.”

I’ve heard a theory as to how this would be done, (which would make sense only in the way that anything in CRANK makes sense) but the bigger question I feel is ‘why’? Was the flick really that amazing that people want another one? I know that some people like the film but I was under the impression that they were the minority. I admire the way the directors basically throw us into the action from the get-go, and I liked the way some of the scenes were directed, but really Amy Smart (ROAD TRIP) can be the only person that came out of CRANK looking good. Because she did look good. Still, to each their own I guess, I hope this news has made you happy.
