Producers Michael Uslan and Lorenzo DiBonaventura have both been quoted in saying that they’re all about doing a sequel for the chainsmoking demon killer, but what about Keanu?
“I would do that in a second. They’re producers, so they have to be optimistic. It’s not up to me, man. It’s up to whomever wants to provide the resources to make that movie. I don’t think Warner Bros. is going to do it. I don’t think it makes fiscal sense for them, because they don’t feel it will make money.”
Not make money? Dang, and I thought that movie made pretty good money for a February release- and I’m sure it’s kicking ass in DVD sales, so what’s the dealio? I guess the WB needs a little more time to make the dough before a final decision is made, but if they’re reading this site, then let it be known: that movie rocked, and I think a sequel would do it some fine justice! So there.
