Another Hellraiser is heading our way & I’m not talking about the remake!

It was just last month that we learned The Weinstein Company were planning on moving forward with that long-awaited HELLRAISER remake. So we knew about that already… But what if I was to tell you there was another HELLRAISER flick in the works? Another random sequel at that… How would you feel about that one?

Well folks that does indeed seem to be the case! You see according to the guys over at ShockTillYouDrop, there’s another HELLRAISER flick in the works entitled HELLRAISER: REVELATIONS that’s coming our way courtesy of director Victor Garcia and scribe Gary Tunnicliffe. Now Garcia most recently directed MIRRORS 2 and RETURN TO HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL so take that for what it’s worth. Meanwhile Tunnicliffe is no stranger to the HELLRAISER legacy, having worked on the FX for a few of the franchise’s sequels. So what do you guys think? You down for a stand-alone HELLRAISER flick from this duo? But wait! That’s not all!

The guys over at Bloody-Disgusting did a little digging upon hearing this news and came up with a few more details regarding the project. It seems HELLRAISER: REVELATIONS will indeed be another sequel in the franchise and it’s actually scheduled to start filming next month! Apparently REVELATIONS is a small budget film that might or might not see the return of Doug Bradley as the infamous ‘Pinhead.’ Might or might not huh? Didn’t see that one coming. And lastly it seems as though REVELATIONS is being described as ‘going balls to the wall,’ so go ahead and take that for what it’s worth.

Personally I’m a big fan of the straight to DVD HELLRAISER sequels so I’m all for another helping!
