When it rains, it pours. Yesterday we showed you the first glimpse at THE LOVELY BONES via Empire Magazine (check out the pic HERE), and today there’s another brand new pic from the film over at USA Today!
Peter Jackson still has an eye for style, as both new pics are examples of the artsy fartsy–which is great. The man can paint a beautiful picture on film, and he looks to be working in true form on this one.
The new pic features Stanley Tucci as the killer of the girl who is stuck between heaven and earth as she watches her family deal with her death and helps them find her body and the dude who’s responsible (this a-hole you see here).
Parts of the book the film is based on was straight-up horrorifying, but also sad and dramatic too. Like a Drarror, or a Horama or some sort of weird cross breed of horror and drama. I’ll think about it a bit more, coin the phrase, then copyright it. Just remember–you heard it here first.
