Our third new look at J.J. Abrams’ SUPER 8 in as many days is perhaps the most visceral. You see, the band of Goonie like kiddies try to make sense of that gnarly train-wreck we’ve seen plenty of, and in-so-doing happen upon a bloody, gun toting survivor of the wreckage. In the summer of 1979, where a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
Elle Fanning, Amanda Michalka (below), Kyle Chandler, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basso, Joel Courtney, Zach Mills, Katie Lowes, Marco Sanchez and Ryan Lee all take part in the cryptic blockbuster.
