A few months back we were teased with a trailer for the Elijah Wood / John Hurt vehicle THE OXFORD MURDERS… and we haven’t heard shite about it since. Until today, that is. Behold the new (French) poster for the flick! Two words initially come to mind upon first glimpse – blue eyes!
As in, holy hell those are a pair of freaky blue eyes. Say what you will about the totally 90s floating heads layout, or that Wood’s head is extremely large in comparison to everyone else’s – those are some of the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen… and it’s freakin’ me out, man!
Co-starring the lovely Leonor Watling, Dominique Pinon, and Julie Cox, MURDERS is still looking for a release date in the States, but we have nothing (nothing I say!) scheduled at the moment. It is, however, gearing up to hit France next month, hence the new French poster.
