What am I talkin’ about here? I’m talkin’ about PARADISE LOST. I get it, it’s a great title. But how many movies can we have called PARADISE LOST? I mean, really now? What the heck?
Case in point is Maverick Red’s newly announced PARADISE LOST, an original movie about zombie lore, voodoo, white slavery, and a brother on the look out for his zombified sister. I’m sure there’s a few other titles that would fit just as good (if not better), but I guess all those were taken too.
Red’s teaming with Grindhouse Pictures AB to produce the flick, with writers Mans F.G. Thunberg and Christian Hallman penning the script. This PARADISE LOST bears no relation to the other upcoming PARADISE LOST, from director Scott Derickson, nor does it have anything to do with the 17th century poem by John Milton.
Regardless, it’s coming at ya, and you never know, they may wise up an decide to release it under a different name. Click here for the full scoop, and watch for Derickson’s PARADISE LOST sometime later this year.
