Another writer helping with that new 3D Texas Chainsaw Massacre flick

It was only a couple days ago that we learned director John Luessenhop was in talks to helm the upcoming LEATHERFACE 3D and now here I am with more news on the flick. That didn’t take long.

According to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting it seems Debra Sullivan, Adam Marcus and Stephen Susco didn’t do a satisfying job on the LEATHERFACE 3D script so word has it scribe Kirsten Elms has been brought on to spruce things up a bit under the supervision of Luessenhop. Now mind you none of this news is sealed and delivered yet but at least it’s something right? Hell do we even want this flick? Sure a 3D chainsaw would be badass but let’s try and not screw up this franchise worse than it already is, deal?

All we know about the plot is that the film will pick up immediately after the original film before jumping ahead 35 years. So the actual Leatherface will be pushing 70ish? Or are we going to see a ‘reboot’ of sorts? Only time will tell folks so be sure to keep it here for anything and everything LEATHERFACE 3D related that comes our way!
