Antibodies poster

So anyone want to take a guess at
how long this poster will be up until the MPAA shoots it down?

What you’re seeing above is the poster for the German film ANTIBODIES, which was
written and directed by
Christian Alvart. Now the reason I think the poster will be
removed is because of the plot that goes along with the flick.

The story of ANTIBODIES is that it begins with the capture
of Gabriel Engel (André Hennicke), a serial killer of young boys. Believing that
a child murder in his small town fits Engel’s m.o., cop Michael (Wotan Wilke
Mohring) travels to the big city to interrogate him—but the experience sends
Michael into a madness of his own.

I think the fact that the film is about a child murderer coupled with the image
of a bloody, naked man, may set the MPAA flying off the handle. But what do I
know?

For those of you who are interested in seeing the flick, it’s being released in
the U.S. on February 16 at both the

Cinema Village
in New York City and the

Beverly Center
in Los Angeles, with
other release dates to follow.
