Just last week My Man Eric showed you a boatload of brand new pics from Lars Von Trier’s bizarre horror effort ANTICHRIST (check that shit out HERE), and today (via Wild About Movies) we have a look at the film’s official poster–and it’s just as erotically bizarre and intriguing as the you’d expect!
My first thought? Tree f*cking. Why? Cause of the tree f*cking at the bottom of the poster. I think it’s safe to say you won’t be seeing this poster at the multiplex near you… ever. Not only is there tree f*cking, but there’s also a tree orgy of multiple f*cking going on inside the tree’s roots. That, or those are dead people. Either way, this poster is lavishly bizarre, and yet… it sure as shit makes me want to check this f*cker out!
Starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg (below), the flick is about a grieving couple who retreat to their cabin in the woods, hoping a return to Eden will repair their broken hearts and troubled marriage. But nature takes its course and things go from bad to worse.
Also, tree f*cking ensues. Enjoy the new poster, and look for ANTICHRIST in Europe and around the world starting May 29th (starting in Denmark), and if you’re a North American native like myself, don’t hold your breath for its theatrical release. Maybe we’ll see it hit DVD by this time next year…
