One flick coming out soon that has me intrigued like a mofo is Lars von Trier’s bizarre and controversial ANTICHRIST, starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Sex and violence 101 is what it could probably be called, and from the weird trailer to the tree-f*cking poster, there’s something about it that i can’t get away from. Probably the tree-f*cking. You don’t see that every day!
The new UK quad poster for ANITCHRIST just hit, which is pretty much the same tree-f*cking poster we’ve seen before, except this time it’s covered in quotes. All they needed was this one to sell this flick to me: The Most Shocking Film in the History of the Cannes Film Festival! I mean, what else do you need than a bold, and likely blown out of proportion, statement like that?
There seems to be a group of people who hate this movie, and a group of love it. Which means you’ll have to see it for yourself and make your own decision. Enjoy the new quad (click on it for an even larger look), drink in all of those quality quotes, and get ready for the UK release of ANTICHRIST July 24th, with a super limited North American release on October 23rd.
