April Fools cover

A week or so ago, Eric debuted the cover art for the STD remake of APRIL FOOL’S DAY (check it out HERE). The cover was bad in the ways of bad 90s horror can be – bunch o’ characters giving the camera brooding looks. Stupid, in other words. Well, it looks like the joke was on us!

Maybe an elaborate April Fool’s joke, or simply Sony realized that that cover sucked balls, but word on the street (given straight from the horses mouth) is saying that the cover art we original saw is NOT the final cover art all! So it’ll likely NOT be the art used once the flick’s released this March – smart move!

While we don’t have what the ‘official’ art is going to look like, we can rest assured knowing that the first p.o.s. cover we saw will NOT be used. Why do we care? Well, we don’t really care, but since it’s a remake, I think the cover should be (at least) equal to (if not better) than the original’s – which is pretty damn good. It’s gonna be hard to beat.
