Variety got word that
foxy minx Asia Argento will be the lead dame in her pops,
Dario Argento’s next horror effort called THE
MOTHER OF TEARS (Which begins to shoot on October
30th in Rome & Turin). In the film Asia will play a
Yankee art student who unwillingly unleashes them damn
Witches upon the world.
Hopefully Asia won’t book out on this project like
she did on her dad’s
THE CARD PLAYER and
more recently the
SISTERS remake. This
last chapter of the THREE MOTHERS TRILOGY (which
started with
Suspiria and Inferno)
is written by Jace Anderson and Adam Gierasch
(Toolbox
Murders) and Argento himself. BRING IT! CAN’T
WAIT!
