Arnold Schwarzenegger joins Fassbender for David Sandberg’s Kung Fury

It's only been a few days since the bizarre news dropped that Michael Fassbender and David Hasslehoff will be joining the cast of David Sandberg's KUNG FURY. And now, BLOOM has announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to star in the B-movie beat-down filled with dinosaur cops, bloodthirsty Valkyries, and of course, enough '80s references to make even READY PLAYER ONE jelaous.

It’s 1985, the best year ever. Miami is kept safe under the watchful eye of Kung Fury, the greatest damn cop of all time. Kung Fury’s Thundercops are the ultimate police force assembled from across history to defeat the villainous Kung Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler. After the tragic death of a Thundercop causes the group to disband, a mysterious villain emerges from the shadows to aid in the Fuhrer’s quest to attain the ultimate weapon. Kung Fury must travel space and time itself to save his friends, defend the prestigious Miami Kung Fu Academy, and defeat evil once and for all.

While we have not yet learned the nature of Schwarzenegger's role in the project, you can bet that his legendary action star clout will lend nicely to this over-the-top presentation of killer robots, time travel, and Norse gods who're just itching to get in on the fun.

I don't know about you, but my money is that Schwarzenegger will portray the role of Zeus for KUNG FURY. I have no evidence to back this up, so let's just call it a hunch. What are you predictions? Let us know in the comments section below!
