Aronofsky talks Ark(ish)

JoBloJoBlo

I know that THE FOUNTAIN gets so much random praise on JoBlo.com that now even the mention of it can cause hostility in the strike-backs. Thing is though, I love the movie, and even if you don’t feel the same I think you at least have to admit that Aronofsky is someone who has the capacity to do something truly different in the medium of film. For fans of his work, PI made you take notice, REQUIEM FOR A DREAM gave you the hint that this guy was going to do something special, but THE FOUNTAIN was the clincher, not least because of the story but because of the look of the movie and how it was made. Which is why when Aronofsky drops any information regarding his upcoming Noah’s Ark related film, I’m all ears. One of the readers over at AICN.com recently attended a panel discussion at the Tribeca Film Festival with Billy Shebar, Sidney Perkowitz and Darren Aronofsky. Click HERE to check out what the man had to say about his next movie, and also about other random things, like the hyperbole of ‘mad-scientists’!
