What better day than to launch this than Halloween baby! Over
the summer I took part in a short horror/suspense/Lynch-ish film in
Louisiana (i.e. beer and babes country) called WIDE
ASLEEP.
I co-produced and acted in the flick while Donny
Broussard wrote and directed. A website for the film just came alive
online, with a Trailer, Picture Gallery and more tagged to its
sleepy ass. Check it out HERE.
Now here’s the Synopsis:
Alex lives by a
simple set of rules; party all night and sleep all day. After meeting a
mysterious girl while out with his friends, his life is thrown into a downward
spiral of confusion and denial following his discovery of her death the
following morning. Without recollection of of the previous night, he tries to
piece together the events that may or may not have transpired.
Me and “The Car”…loved driving that f*cking
thing!
With the looming
possibility of Alex being this mysterious girl’s killer, Alex turns to his best
friend Corey for consolation. The more Alex tries to discover, the more the
boundaries of reality become blurred for him. As he tries to sort out what’s
happening to him, he struggles to regain a foothold on the life he once knew and
discover the hidden truth.
The movie co-stars
great dude David Lawson and sexy minx Heather Westwood. It is
presently in Post and should rise out of its grave in spring/summer 2007.
