Looks like stuntman turned director David R. Ellis will continue to keep a full plate after the release of the highly anticipated SNAKES ON A PLANE. Hyde Park Entertainment has signed him to helm ASYLUM.
Not much has been released about the script by Ethan Lawrence, but we do know the story is about a group of college freshmen who learn that their dorm was once a notorious asylum.
If that premise doesn’t lead to all sorts of genre-ific hijinx then it will simply be a damned shame. A nubile co-ed or two would be appreciated as well. No doubt we’ll learn more specifics soon as the pic is set to lens later this year.
