Australia pushed back

AUSTRALIA Not wanting to fall behind the latest release date shifting as a result of HARRY POTTER moving to next year trend, Fox has decided to give Baz Luhrmann’s epic period drama AUSTRALIA a mini-bump from it’s previous November 14th release to November 26th, pitting it up against the Jason Statham starring actioner sequel TRANSPORTER 3 and the Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn starring comedy FOUR CHRISTMASES. Further, this bump only applies to the US, Canada and Australia. In all other international territories, it’ll still open Christmas Day. The film, which stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman as ranchers who fall in love on a cattle drive across the Australian Outback, is now in prime position to…do the exact same business it would have done twelve days earlier.
